Altoona Family Restaurant opened its doors on October 3rd, 2005, founded by Eddie and Drita Sabani, who dreamed of creating a place where people could enjoy homemade meals and genuine hospitality. Almost 20 years later, that dream has grown into one of the most beloved dining spots in the Altoona–Eau Claire area.

First time visiting Eau Claire on the coldest day ever and we stopped here for breakfast. Cutest family owned restaurant I've ever seen. Food was outstanding , everything tasted like it was home made! Definitely gonna come back here! Loved it all!
Flavourful. Food is like a wonderful home cooked meal. Service was good , server was lovely and knowledgeable. Atmosphere was welcoming.They definitely have returning customers ( regulars) which was wonderful to see , being called by name and noticed. If you're looking for a good spot to eat that's friendly with good food I'd definitely give this place a try.
The perfect shaped omelette, cooked all the way through and not burnt. Homemade jam. Cute clean environment, looks like it could be filmed for a Gilmore girls ep. Waitress was lovely. I'm throughly impressed.
